2. What FindMyBalance provides

FindMyBalance provides tools for food logging, nutrition estimates, Meal Planning, shopping lists, hydration, weight and progress tracking, workouts, wellbeing insights and related features. Features can vary by device, country, platform permissions and app version.

Core functionality may be available without charge. Advertising may support the free experience, and optional paid products may be offered.

3. Wellbeing information, not medical advice

FindMyBalance is a general wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dietitian, emergency service or substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Calories, macronutrients, portions, energy expenditure, targets, AI results and catalogue information are estimates. Food products, recipes and individual needs vary. Check packaging, allergens, ingredients, cooking safety and serving sizes. Speak to a qualified professional before making significant changes, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a history of disordered eating, take medication or have specific nutritional needs.

Do not use FindMyBalance in an emergency. Contact the appropriate emergency service.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping access to your sign-in method secure and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may delete your account using the in-app control or the process on our Delete Account page. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription.

5. Local data and backups

Much of your personal history is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device backups and safeguarding any encrypted FindMyBalance backup and its recovery information. We cannot recover an encrypted backup if the recovery information is lost.

Removing the app, resetting a device or losing a device may remove local data unless it can be restored through a supported platform or user-controlled backup.

6. AI and catalogue features

AI Meal Scan, barcode fallback, voice transcription and similar tools can produce incomplete or incorrect results. You must review output before saving or relying on it. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use, or content containing unnecessary sensitive information about another person.

7. £14.99/year Ad-Free subscription

FindMyBalance may offer an auto-renewing Ad-Free subscription. The displayed store price and currency at purchase are authoritative and can vary by territory. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account after confirmation.

• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to the store’s rules.
• Your store account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel through your Apple or Google subscription settings.
• Deleting FindMyBalance or your account does not cancel the subscription.
• Use Restore Purchase in the app when you need to recover an eligible entitlement.

Refunds are handled by the relevant store under its policies and applicable law. Core tracking features are not represented as part of the Ad-Free entitlement unless clearly stated at purchase.

8. Your content and our intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you create, such as custom foods and recipes. You give FindMyBalance the limited permission needed to process that content only to provide features you choose to use.

The FindMyBalance name, logo, app design, software, original catalogue content and related materials belong to FindMyBalance LTD or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape or commercially exploit them except where law permits.

9. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful or harmful content, automate excessive requests, evade feature limits, infringe rights, or use the app to harm another person. We may restrict or close access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers or the service.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Online catalogues, AI tools, advertising, sign-in, purchases and third-party integrations may occasionally be unavailable. We may improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonable, while respecting applicable consumer rights.

11. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindMyBalance LTD is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by inaccurate user input or third-party information, decisions made from estimates, lost local data where no supported backup exists, or outages beyond our reasonable control. If you use FindMyBalance for business purposes, the app is supplied only for personal consumer use and we are not liable for business losses.

12. Ending use

You may stop using FindMyBalance at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated breach, security risk, unlawful use or where required by law. Provisions that logically continue after termination remain effective.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you retain mandatory protections and court rights provided by the law of your home country.
