You are in control
Changing an optional privacy choice will not prevent you from using unrelated FindMyBalance features. Some individual features need a permission to work, such as location for an outdoor route or camera access for barcode scanning.
Advertising consent
Where required, FindMyBalance presents Google’s consent controls before personalised advertising or related processing. You can reopen available advertising privacy choices from the app’s Privacy & Data or App Settings area. If the wording varies by version, look for Advertising privacy choices or Manage consent.
Choosing the optional Ad-Free subscription removes advertising while the entitlement is active. It does not change account, purchase or essential security processing.
Apple tracking permission
FindMyBalance does not currently request Apple’s permission to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. Advertising consent and privacy choices are handled through controls available inside FindMyBalance.
Android advertising controls are available through the privacy or ads section of your device’s Google settings, depending on Android version and manufacturer.
Health, fitness and location
iPhone
Review FindMyBalance access in the Health app and in Settings → Privacy & Security. Location permission can be changed separately.
Android
Review health permissions in Health Connect and location or activity permissions in Android App Info. Samsung devices may also surface connected health controls through Samsung Health where applicable.
Turning a permission off may remove live data from FindMyBalance until you enable it again. It does not delete information already stored by Apple Health, Health Connect or another platform.
Camera, photos, microphone and notifications
Use your phone’s app permission settings to allow or remove access for barcode scanning, Meal Scan, profile photos, Voice Log and notifications. FindMyBalance asks only when a related feature needs the permission.
Meal Scan photos are processed when you choose the feature and are excluded from the portable personal-history backup.
Local data and encrypted backups
Your personal history is local-first. You choose whether to create a portable encrypted backup, where to save it and when to delete it. Remove every copy from Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, another document provider or external storage if you no longer want the backup.
Keep the recovery information separate and safe. FindMyBalance cannot read or recover the backup without the required key or recovery information.
Account deletion and privacy rights
Delete your account inside the app or use our public deletion page. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or another privacy request, email us. We may need to verify your account before acting.
Need a privacy review?
Tell us what you need and the account email involved. Do not send passwords or backup recovery information.
