Delete inside FindMyBalance
- Open FindMyBalance and go to Profile.
- Open Sign-in & security or select Delete account in the Account section.
- Review the information shown and confirm deletion.
- Complete any identity check requested by the app.
Account deletion is permanent. Export any encrypted backup you want to keep before continuing.
Cannot access the app?
Email us from the address connected to your FindMyBalance account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We may ask you to verify ownership before deletion.
Do not send your password, Apple or Google credentials, payment details or encrypted-backup recovery information.
What deletion covers
Once verified and completed, deletion removes the FindMyBalance authentication account and account-linked information that FindMyBalance controls, including relevant sign-in metadata and linked feature-usage or security records, subject to limited legal or fraud-prevention retention.
Your personal Diary, weight history, Meal Plans, favourites, Shopping state, workouts and profile photo are local-first. Use the app’s deletion/reset process and remove the app if you also want to clear the working copy on that device.
What deletion cannot automatically remove
- An encrypted FindMyBalance backup file that you exported and saved yourself.
- Information stored in Apple Health, Android Health Connect or another platform account that you control.
- Apple or Google purchase and transaction records retained under their policies.
- Data another provider must keep to meet legal, security or fraud-prevention obligations.
- Aggregated information that no longer identifies or relates to your account.
Delete exported backup files from every location where you saved or copied them.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your FindMyBalance account or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the £14.99/year Ad-Free subscription in your store subscription settings if you do not want it to renew.
